  3. The quickest way to get started is to choose one of the built in functions from the Functions menu. This will plot the function into the active graph window with a suitable choice of axes.

  5. If you prefer to plot one of the built-in functions on a set of axes that you have already defined, hold down the shift key when choosing the function.
